| Missions are alive & well at Broadway: Thanks to everyone! Our church is in the top 100 churches contributing to the Annie Armstrong Easter offering in 2008. Just to let you know, your investment and generosity in giving to this offering helps support the work of 5,200-plus missionaries who serve through the North America Mission Board. By intent and design, all dollars given through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering go directly to support our missionaries and their work. None of the funds are used for administrative cost in NAMB headquarters. . We received a very nice letter from the North American Mission Board thanking us. We had a wonderful time with Chelene Kennedy on April 26th and would like to thank all who came out. We look forward to seeing all of you again on May 22nd when we have Devonna Dobbs with Central Baptist Hospital speaking on how the Hugs ministry is blessing the people who receive our bags and blankets. |
We also support the Agape Closet and are in serious need of soup, peanut butter, jelly and any other items that can be eaten as is. If you can help, please call Grace Tanner @ 421-4077 or our church office for more information. Our Mission children will be having a contest to see who can bring in the most of these needed items. The winner will win an ice cream cake from Graters. Please be in prayer for what you can do to support these children. Don’t forget our mission award ceremony on May 18th They have worked very hard therefore, please support these wonderful children by being in the service. There are several cards and letters posted on the bulliten board thanking us for all we do. Please take a few minutes to stop by and read these. God Bless all who care and support Missions. |
