My heart's passion is to lead people to a deeper love for the Bible. A favorite verse of mine is 2 Timothy 3:16, where Paul wrote, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work [emphasis mine].” God wants His Word to be so much more than mere ink on a page. God wants the His Word to be useful in our lives, to have relevance. Unfortunately, many Christians do not find meaning or direction in their Bible, simply because they do not know their Bible.

The purpose of our class is to provide adult learners the opportunity to become intimately familiar with Scripture. While we follow LifeWay's Explore The Bible series, our class often pauses to spend additional time on difficult or controversial passages. As a teacher I find it rewarding to take the complicated and make it simple, easy to understand and applicable to daily life.

Please, come join us for Bible study. While our approach is serious and thought-provoking, our class is relaxed and casual. So bring your coffee and grab a donut. Regardless of your age, your profession or stage in life, we welcome one and all to join us in the journey through God's Word!
